In Great Britain, anyone keeping 50 or more poultry must register with APHA, and smaller keepers are encouraged to register voluntarily so they receive bird flu alerts. Follow any housing orders in force. Allow enough space per bird, and make the coop fox-proof with secure locks and buried or electric fencing.
For health problems, speak to a vet with poultry experience; this directory lists products, not veterinary advice. Prices and stock change, so check with each supplier.
